Sarah "Lets-shoot-wolves-from-a-helicopter" Palin. A recap of the weekend so far.- Friday: Palin suddenly and without indication announces she is resigning from her governing gig in Alaska.
- Later Friday: news begins to emerge of a possible embezzlement scandal. NBC News reports she's done with politics "for good."
- Saturday: Juneau's Independence Day Parade organizer says Palin is a no-show despite an invitation.
- Later Saturday: Palin announces on her Facebook page her being called on for a higher, national agenda.

Allow me to tell you what's in her mind: "I want to run for president in 2012, but I've got this governor thing for another year-or-so. Ah, what the hell. I'll just quit and ignore my responsibilities to my home state. They don't need me."
What's this supposed to mean to the rest of the U.S.? Just for the H of it, lets say she does win in 2012. In 2014, Fox News offers her a plush 8 p.m. gig (you know, after Bill O'Reilly moves to MSNBC... ahem) for a whole lot more money. I assume this will cause her to turn the country over to her VP so she can move onto "a higher calling."

She really is a whack job. I have to wonder what people were thinking when they voted her into office.
