Is This Obama's Moment?

So you've likely already heard President Barack Obama's moment on Monday when he was overheard calling Kanye West a "jackass" for his behavior during the MTV Video Music Awards.  It happened when CNBC was setting up for an interview and anchor John Harwood was chatting with the president.  ABC News employees, which shares a fiber optic line with CNBC, witnessed the pre-interview chatter and Terry Moran twitted:
Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.
Does this "off-mic" moment become Obama's "oops" moment?  Former President Ronald Reagan had one in 1984 when he joked about bombing the Soviet Union when he thought the microphone was off.  And George W. Bush's moment came during the 2000 campaign when he turned to Dick Cheney to make an obscene comment about a New York Times reporter.

So what do you think?  Is this Obama's moment?
