Gimme My Money, Bitches

Sure, it looks like you won $167-million, but you didn't.  What?!  The Seminole Hard Rock Casino west of Fort Lauderdale claims a jackpot of $166,666,666.65 was simply just a "computer glitch."  They made good - sort of - by offering an undisclosed cash settlement to avoid a lawsuit, but shouldn't they have insurance for this type of thing?

The company should have a policy to payout on legitimate prizes and there should be insurance to protect against malfunctioning machines.  If a machine malfunctions, the insurance policy would pay out.  Why?  If I'm sitting at a machine and the bells start ringing and lights start whirring and the screen is flashing, I'm going to get pretty damn excited.  And when the casino doesn't want to give me my dough, I'm going to pitch a major fit.  I'm going to make their lives living hell.  If you don't want to pay out for a malfunctioning machine, you should take measures to make sure those machines never malfunction.  It only makes you look like fools.

#EndRant.  Here's the story as it aired on CNN.
