Let his days be few; and let another take his office. This verse is followed immediately by (Psalm 109:9), quote, "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow." A representative at Beliefnet told ThinkProgress that this passage (Psalm 109) is "full of violent images of vengeance and death."
This is the sickest attack anyone could make on a sitting president. Or anyone else for that matter. This is going too far. It's okay to launch your attacks on a president, but when you threaten his life, you are overstepping and Secret Service should pay you a visit.
Christianity should not be about hate and violence. These types of attacks - and those being levied on the gay community in states where marriage equality is being debated - are really getting old. You're no better than the rest of us and you can't selectively recite Bible verses. It's all or none. Get over it. Or go stone your wife.
