Rumors are flying about the future of Oprah Winfrey's daytime talkfest. Her current contract is up in 2011 and insiders say there is pressure on her to move her show to her new cable network. Discovery Communications, which owns Oprah Winfrey Network, is reportedly telling Winfrey the network is on the verge of being nixed unless they can get exclusive first-run rights to the daily show.
What's more than likely happening here is a story that has been planted by insiders to get a new (read into this "better") contract (read "more money") for the one-time daytime talk queen. Only time will tell which story is true.
