Desperate Housewives have reportedly signed
John Barrowman for a five-episode arc. If you're not familiar with Barrowman, he's hugely popular across the pond and stars in the
Doctor Who spin-off
Torchwood. The out small screen star is coming stateside for, not only the
Housewives role, but a reported remake of
Torchwood, which will air on
FOX.
According to insiders, Barrowman's
Housewives role will involve
Drea de Matteo's character, who we already know is living under an assumed name due to something that happened in her past. Barrowman's character will have something to do with that history.
Barrowman's arc on the hit drama is expected to air beginning in April on
ABC.
