Barrowman Taking America By Storm

Torchwood star John Barrowman is effectively lobbying for a role on Glee.  The UK actor, who will bring his Torchwood role to America soon and is already filming an appearance on Desperate Housewives, met with show runners at Glee last week to ask them for a guest role.  We haven't heard how those meetings went, but Barrowman would really like to make this happen.

Meanwhile, over on ABC, look for his six-episode arc at Housewives to commence in April.  His character is a man from Angie's past, which has been this season's mystery.  Insiders say Barrowman's character will be one of the most evil characters ever introduced to Wisteria Lane.

Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
